Pinot noir
Pinot noir: a grape variety from Burgundy
Pinot Noir is a grape variety originating from Burgundy. In Alsace, it is used to make red wines that are both light and fruity, or on the contrary more full-bodied, depending on the winemaking methods and the terroir. It is also used in the composition of certain Crémants d'Alsace, in particular Rosés Brut and Blancs de Noirs, as well as in vintages of Alsace wines with the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC).
Pinot noir is a marriage of flavors with character
With its full-bodied and robust structure, Pinot Noir d'Alsace is the perfect match for fine cuts of red meat and game. It is the ideal accompaniment to prime rib of beef or duck breast. You can also serve it with stews or beef bourguignon.
Crémant d'Alsace Rosé, meanwhile, is the ideal aperitif and will also enhance your red fruit desserts such as raspberry millefeuille, red fruit soups or strawberry macaroons.
