The Cuvée "Rayon de Lune" is taken from the story of the villagers of Bennwihr nicknamed the "Moon Chasers" ("Mondfanger" in Alsatian). These cuvées are dedicated to them. The Moon is a key element of this range presented in exclusive blue bottles, blue similar to the colour of the sky lit by the Moon Rays.

Those who today recognize themselves as the "Moon Chasers" continue the tradition of their ancestors by carrying on the values that made the history and the singularity of these women and men on the territory of the Alsatian vineyard. They have always known, even in the face of the trials of great history, how to face up to them with determination, solidarity and... originality.
The Moon has thus become more than an emblem, a true standard for Bestheim. It is indeed at the heart of our slogan, "Qui chasse la Lune, Récolte le soleil", ("Who hunts the Moon reaps the Sun"). It sounds like the promise of a new and mysterious experience, and bears witness to an extraordinary human adventure, that of ambitious men, madly daring and freedom-loving.
