Identity
The "Rayon de Lune" cuvée is inspired by the story of the villagers of Bennwihr, nicknamed the "Moon Hunters" (Mondfanger). These men and women have always known how to face the trials of history with determination, solidarity and... originality. The Moon is a key element of this vintage presented in exclusive blue bottles, a blue similar to the color of the sky lit by Moonbeams. Recognized as one of the best white grape varieties in the world, this Riesling is a gastronomic wine par excellence.
Winemaking
Pressing of whole grapes. Strict settling to ensure clear juices. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats, followed by aging on fine lees for more than 6 months.
Eye
Pale gold.
Nose
Fresh, with grapefruit in the foreground. More mineral notes then emerge, characteristic of Riesling from a clay-limestone terroir.
Palate
Elegant and dry, with citrus notes bringing a "gastronomic" liveliness to this fine cuvée.
