The owner of the site, through the BESTHEIM Wine Cooperative Society (hereinafter SCVB), undertakes as Data Controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (GDPR) and Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to data processing, to files and freedoms amended by LAW No. 2018-493 of June 20, 2018, relating to the protection of personal data for matters of personal data processing, to respect the right to privacy, and in particular the personal data, of any person visiting and/or communicating with and/or receiving information on the websites and pages on the Group's social networks as well as by e-mails (including newsletters) and correspondence forms (hereinafter "the Users").
The purpose of the Privacy Policy is to inform you of the way in which the Company processes personal data (hereinafter "Personal Data"), and in particular to specify how the collection, use, storage and archiving of Users' Personal Data is carried out.
That being said, dear Users, please find below the answers to the various questions you may have.
Purpose of the processing
The SCVB, as Data Controller, collects and uses Users' Personal Data in accordance with the regulations in force in order to manage their orders on the Site, to manage newsletters if they subscribe to them, for marketing purposes but only with the Users' consent, for the purposes of analyzing the behavior of the Users of the aforementioned or in order to manage requests made by Users via the contact form.
The data collected may be processed by the SCVB for prospecting purposes, particularly commercial.
The Company will not collect Personal Data from minors.
Legal basis for processing
The legal basis for the processing is the order placed between the User and the SCVB or the expression of consent by the User of the site concerned by the processing, when such consent is required.
Source of personal data
Personal Data is collected directly from Users (when registering on the Site or when collecting information for product delivery at the time of purchase).
While respecting the applicable legal obligations, the SCVB may use various technological devices that collect and provide information on how Users access and use the SCVB's sites and services. The SCVB may use demographic information about the Users of its sites, which may be obtained from third parties such as Google or the social networks on which the Users are registered (hereinafter the "Usage Information"). This Usage Information may relate to the pages that Users have viewed, the time at which they were viewed, information about a particular drink or other content to which the User has had access or which he or she has provided, the language in which the User has consulted the sites, as well as demographic information about the User (such as age, gender and interests, if applicable) and the pages that the User has consulted before viewing this page, etc.
Recipient of the data
The recipients of this data are:
- the SCVB,
- the subcontractors of the SCVB if necessary.
The SCVB ensures that the recipients of the data offer serious guarantees of security and confidentiality of the Personal Data transmitted to them by the SCVB.
Transfer of data outside the European Union
Personal Data is in principle processed exclusively within the European Union.
Your Personal Data may be transferred outside the European Union. In this case, the SCVB will take all necessary measures to guarantee their protection.
Thus, the Company would ensure the protection of the User's Personal Data during the transfer, and that third parties respect a high level of protection of the User's Personal Data, in accordance with European requirements (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, and/or by the adherence of the entities receiving the data to the Privacy Shield, when they are located in the United States).
Retention of personal data
Personal Data is stored in accordance with applicable French and European standards.
Personal Data will be kept for 5 years from the last order or collection for all other cases. At the end of this period and without the renewal of your consent, it will be destroyed by the SCVB.
The User may request the deletion or modification of Personal Data at any time.
The SCVB will implement all the technical and organizational measures necessary to protect the confidentiality and security of the User's Personal Data collected via the SCVB's websites.
These measures include storing Personal Data in secure operating environments that are not accessible to the public and that are only accessible to authorized SCVB staff members, as well as to agents and contractors specially authorized for this purpose.
Rights of the user concerned by the processing
In accordance with French and European standards relating to the protection of personal data, and particularly the General Data Protection Regulation n° 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (GDPR), applicable since May 25, 2018, the User has a right of access, rectification, limitation of processing, erasure, opposition to processing and portability.
They also have the option of withdrawing their consent for processing where this is required. The data will then be deleted.
