Every day, we adopt environmentally friendly practices, reducing our ecological footprint, whether in the vineyard or in the cellar. Our ethical and environmental commitment reflects our social responsibility, aiming to move together towards a peaceful future.
A certification that recognizes our responsible actions
In February 2024, Bestheim became the first cooperative winery in Alsace to obtain the Vignerons Engagés( Committed Winegrowers) label, thus joining the Top 5 of the largest member organizations. This label, based on the ISO 26000 standard, assesses the responsible practices of wine-growing companies, from the vine to the glass. This distinction underlines our daily commitment to sustainable wine-growing that respects the environment and people
Taking action for our consumers, our teams and our region
At Bestheim, protecting our consumers is a priority: our production sites have been IFS Food certified for more than 10 years, guaranteeing the traceability and quality of our products.
We also strive to ensure customer satisfaction by providing a personalized welcome in our shops and listening carefully to their feedback.
As for the cooperative winegrowers and employees, we work on an everyday basis to ensure optimal working conditions, with the help of an ergonomist and in collaboration with the winegrowers' unions to reduce the use of phytosanitary products.
Finally, we affirm our commitment to gender equality, with a score of 90/100 on the equality index in 2021, reflecting our desire for fairness and progress.
