Identity
Inspired by the heritage of the Chasseurs de Lune, this Pinot Noir draws its depth and brilliance from the terroirs of Alsace. Carefully matured, it reveals a subtle balance between the freshness of the fruit and delicately woody notes, like a night sky illuminated by the soft glow of the moon.
Winemaking
Maceration in stainless steel vats during alcoholic fermentation, followed by malolactic fermentation. This vintage benefits from a light ageing of 12 months in French oak barrels, in order to create a subtle harmony between the fruit of the Pinot Noir and the woody notes of the barrel.
Eye
Intense ruby color.
Nose
Expressive, with notes of red berries and cherry. Woody and vanilla aromas from the barrels.
Palate
Clean attack, woody and fruity notes. Full finish, light and silky tannins.
What to eat with the Rayon de Lune Pinot Noir?
The perfect accompaniment to stewed or grilled meats, it also goes well with mature hard cheeses such as Comté.
