Identity
Facing due south on a hillside, the Mambourg dominates Sigolsheim. It is one of the earliest ripening hillsides in the Alsace plain, and enjoys optimal sunshine. The calcimagnesian soil develops on the limestone conglomerates.
Winemaking
Long fermentation in stainless steel vats followed by extended aging on fine lees. The wine is then bottled before waiting at least one year for it to be marketed.
Eye
Golden yellow.
Nose
Beautiful intensity, fruity and fresh with notes of citrus.
Palate
Distinctive and fruity, it offers a bouquet of great finesse with floral nuances (acacia flower).
