Identity
Patiently cultivated on almost outcropping granite rock, with a southern exposure, this Riesling benefits from the best conditions for producing an exceptional wine. Schlossberg is also the oldest and largest in area of the Grands Crus of Alsace.
Winemaking
Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats, followed by aging on the lees for at least 6 months. It is then patiently left to rest for at least a year before being sold.
Eye
Gold, bright.
Nose
Floral, refined, with notes of pear and rhubarb.
Palate
Velvety mouthfeel, mineral attack and saliva, good length and subtle fruitiness (yellow fruits, citrus fruits).
