Mambourg
Grand Cru Mambourg: A wealth of wines for laying down
The Grand Cru Mambourg is an emblematic terroir of Alsace, particularly favorable to the Gewurztraminer grape variety, which expresses all its aromatic richness and complexity there. Other noble grape varieties are also cultivated there, such as Pinot Gris, Muscat and Riesling, offering a beautiful diversity of aromatic profiles.
Although not included in the specifications of the Grand Cru Mambourg, Pinot Noir stands out here with powerful and distinguished red wines, revealing the full potential of this exceptional terroir.
Thanks to naturally low yields, the wines from this plot benefit from a high level of concentration and remarkable quality, worthy of the finest wines of Alsace.
A region through history for exceptional wines
Historically, the white wines of "Sigoltesberg" (now Mambourg) have been renowned since 783, with the convents and lords who owned them giving them their letters of nobility.
The Grand Cru Mambourg produces very distinctive Alsace wines, harmonious and with a long cellar life. They are characterized by their elegance, great aromatic finesse and a certain power that gives them a very nice length in the mouth.
