What's your role in the Cave?
I'm responsible for sales in our Westhalten shop.
How long have you been working here?
It's been 6 years, initially at the service of the Kientzheim-Kaysersberg winery and then Bestheim after the merger of the cellars in 2015.
Your favourite wine and why?
The Pinot Gris Lieu-Dit Strangenberg because it is a harmonious wine, easy to drink as an aperitif, perfect with a good pan-fried foie gras.
Among the 4 values of the Cave (audacity, freedom, courage, ambition) which one inspires you the most?
Boldness because I subscribe to the idea of surprising (as with the Hopla range), of daring to take risks, of not hesitating to look elsewhere, of innovating, of being a forerunner.
An anecdote to share...
Believe it or not, a customer recently told me that the Crémant d'Alsace Rosé was made with red apples... I explained to him that only Pinot Noir was used in its composition, but he wouldn't listen !!!
