Refreshing as the early morning dew!
With the return of sunshine and summer heat, restaurant terraces and moments of relaxation on the horizon, now is the perfect time to bring out your light dresses and enjoy the aromatic palettes of our Alsatian rosés!
Summer vibes!
With their new packaging designed for the trade market (CHR, wine merchants, shops, e-shops), paying tribute to the history of the "Chasseurs de Lune" (Moon Hunters), with or without bubbles, it's time to make room for summer rosés on our tables.
Made from 100% Pinot Noir, the color of BESTHEIM rosés does not seek to conform to a standard or ideal. Each year, it adapts, sometimes more pink, sometimes more salmon-colored, reflecting the vintage, the work of the "Chasseurs de Lune" on their terroir, and the care taken by passionate wine merchants and oenologists in our cellars with each cuvée.
The BESTHEIM rosé range offers three vintages, three styles, three stories, and three companies.
The Rosé des Chasseurs de Lune
This is a typical Alsace rosé, at the crossroads of current consumer trends. It should be enjoyed chilled with cold dishes or summer brunches. A farfalle salad with salmon and pink peppercorns, a few pieces of tarama toast, Japanese-style cold roast beef, a summer bowl with salmon, carrots, radishes, and strawberries, or a simple raw vegetable salad.
The weather is fine, the sun is shining on your plate and in your hearts, so Rosé des Chasseurs de Lune is the perfect companion. For a tip, look for color combinations! Fish and even pink meats often go well with rosé wines.
Crémant Brut Rosé
The ultimate wine for welcoming back summer! Welcome back color and freshness. A great accompaniment to your aperitifs, often elegantly garnished with a few fresh raspberries or red currants (for a touch of color), this Crémant Brut, with 8 grams of residual sugar, will make your eyes sparkle as much as your taste buds! With its subtle, seductive aromas of strawberries and raspberries, it will delight the palate of all who taste it. To awaken the senses during your aperitif, it will also enhance red fruit desserts such as raspberry mille-feuilles, red fruit soups, or strawberry macarons.
Crémant Grand Prestige Rosé
Subtle and delicate, this is a distinguished cuvée, a testament to its vintage and sourced from the finest limestone plots in Bestheim, where Pinot Noir finds the balance it needs to produce the most gastronomic cuvées.
Because yes, the bubbles, made fine and delicate by a long ageing process on slats in our cellars in the Vallée Noble, can also accompany you at the table. Often reserved for aperitifs or celebrations, there are Crémants d'Alsace that can be boldly paired with more original gastronomic combinations. This "Grand Prestige" cuvée will surprise you with the spicy flavors of a well-seasoned beef tartare, a dish of tender salmon or tuna sashimi, or even sea bream with paprika and rosemary, as the delicate effervescence also helps to bring out the aromas. And why not try it with duck tartare with raspberries (find Emmanuel STEMPER's recipe here ).
So, are you more of a sparkling rosé, still rosé, deep rosé, light rosé, powdery rosé, terrace rosé, rosé on a white tablecloth... ?
