Launch of the Balade Olfactive gift set
Following the success of its "Qui chasse la Lune, Récolte le Soleil" cuvée, Bestheim continues its sensory exploration with the Balade Olfactive gift set. This limited edition combines wine and perfume in a unique immersive experience, designed around its Crémant d'Alsace Grand Prestige 2013.
Bestheim unveils a new exceptional vintage
Following the success of the 2020 launch of the " Qui chasse la Lune, Récolte le soleil" cuvée , Bestheim is repeating the experience by taking its Crémant Grand Prestige to the highest peaks to reach the moon, just like the Chasseurs de Lune,
This cuvée was born in 2013 under a very lucky star. Designed as a very great wine, from the limestone plateau ofthe "Strangenberg," Cellar Master Christophe Adam and his assistant Paul Andres accompanied it to maturity. This is a beautiful vintage with a creamy texture and a crystal-clear palate , which is now reaching its peak. It rested for over nine years on slats before disgorging to refine the quintessence of Pinot Blanc and achieve excellence.
A unique immersive experience
The "Balade Olfactive" box set is the result of a new collaboration between Bestheim andStrasbourg-based perfume house Serena Galini.
After immersing themselves in the terroir and conducting multiple tasting sessions, Serena Galini identified the predominant notes emanating from Strangenberg, a limestone hill overlooking the Noble Valley, a place of breathtaking beauty and richness.
The result is a five-part experience, a delicate olfactory sequence that instantly transports us to the land that gave life to these exceptional grapes. the journey begins on "la Terre Sèche" ( the dry earth ) and ends at the final stage of the journey, "Arômes du Crémant" (aromas of Crémant ), which reveals a rich and complex bouquet tinged with toasted and buttery notes.
The box contains a bottle of 2013 vintage Crémant d'Alsace, five numbered perfume vials, paper strips for testing, and a tasting notebook.

EYE: intense yellow color with golden highlights

NOSE: The long aging of this cuvée gives it a powerful aromatic bouquet and beautiful complexity, tinged with notes of yellow fruits, accompanied by a toasty aroma and spicy touches.

PALATE: The liveliness of the Crémant is present and blends into the wine, giving way to buttery and toasted notes, complemented by delicate aromas of white peach.
The 1,050 boxes available will go on sale in Bestheim stores and in a limited number of outlets from November 8, 2023. All bottles are numbered.
