Identity
The "Rayon de Lune" cuvée is inspired by the story of the villagers of Bennwihr, nicknamed the "Moon Hunters" (Mondfanger). These men and women have always known how to stand firm with determination, solidarity and... originality, even in the face of the trials of history. The Moon is a key element of this vintage presented in exclusive blue bottles, a blue similar to the color of the sky lit by Moonbeams.
Winemaking
Whole grape pressing. Strict settling to ensure clear juices. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats, followed by aging on fine lees for more than 6 months.
Oyster
Yellow gold.
Nose
Clean and fresh, yellow fruits with notes of undergrowth and a hint of hazelnut.
In the mouth
A balance between substance and freshness. Round and long on the palate, with complex undergrowth aromas.
What to drink with the Pinot Gris Rayon de Lune?
The Pinot Gris "Rayon de Lune" is the ideal accompaniment to pies and terrines, and goes very well with white meats. Also worth trying with blanquette de veau.
