Wine tourism: wine tasting in the vineyards of Alsace
Have you ever tasted wine in its "natural environment"? With your feet in the earth, your eyes taking in the 360° panorama of the vineyards, your hand brushing the vines... take a deep breath and enjoy the moment to the fullest.
Bestheim offers unique experiences in the great outdoors, whether you want to taste the best vintages or discover the world of wine and the cellar.
The Mondfangers treasure hunt: will you manage to open the chest?
On the heights of Bennwihr, you and your family or friends will take on a real challenge. Grab the logbook and map provided and set off in search of the treasure. The trail, dotted with puzzles, is accessible to groups of up to six people and recommended for ages four and up.
"Mondfangers" means "moon hunters" in Alsatian. They were the founding fathers of our winery, and you will discover their entire history.
Bestheim won the 2022 Tourism Trophy in the Wine Tourism category for this activity. Find out more

Back at the foot of the vineyards, visit the Christmas market set up for the occasion by local producers.
A bright, warm, and friendly evening awaits you!

SlowUp: discover the Alsace Vineyard Cycle Route
During SlowUp, you don't rediscover the Alsatian vineyards on foot, but by bike! In fact, you can also go on foot, by scooter or on rollerblades. The main thing is to turn off your engines and celebrate sustainable transport.
This eco-friendly event takes place in June and, unsurprisingly, on the Wine Route. The host villages offer entertainment throughout the day, guaranteeing a festive atmosphere.
SlowUp is a great idea, combining wine tourism and cycle tourism, and it works perfectly.
La Tournée des Terroirs – the traveling festival ALSACE ROCKS!
La Tournée des Terroirs was the event not to be missed during the 70th anniversary of the Alsace Wine Route (in 2023).
With 15 dates and vineyards to discover, tastings, a pop-up bar and a food court, a collective of DJs, and fun workshops, this is truly a unique festival in the heart of the vineyards.
Fortunately, the event will be back!
