Getting to know the Pinot Gris Grand Cru Mambourg

Between 8° and 10°C
Pinot gris

Grand Cru Mambourg looks out over the village of Sigolsheim. Facing due south, this marl-limestone terroir enjoys the perfect amount of sunlight, imbuing the wines of Mambourg with their distinctive depth and length of flavour.

Tasting notes

Elegant yet intense golden yellow colour, with great legs. The bouquet is equally intense, with syrupy fruit aromas including pear, peach and dried apricot. This Pinot Gris is rich and voluptuous on the palate, building to a well-balanced finish accented with crisp, mineral notes and a lingering echo of dried apricot.

Food-wine pairings

Ideal as an aperitif, with foie gras or else with chocolate or fruit-based desserts.

Pinot Gris Grand Cru Mambourg Power and complexity

The power of our marl-limestone terroir

Set on a south-facing hillside, Mambourg looks out over Sigolsheim. This is one of the earliest-ripening hillsides in Alsace. The wines of Mambourg are renowned for their remarkable finesse and aromatic intensity.

TRY IT WITH pan-fried foie gras

A marvellous match for a sumptuously creamy porcini mushroom risotto. Every bit as delicious with foie gras - fresh, pan-fried or mi-cuit.

And what if... Succumb to the temptation of an unexpected encounter...
