
Wines from our terroirs Gewurztraminer Altenbourg
A clay-limestone terroir located in the commune of Bennwihr, with a south/south-east exposure, it benefits from a rich soil allowing grapes of great maturity and remarkable aromatic expression.
Fermentation in stainless steel tanks followed by maturation in tanks for at least 6 months before bottling.
Straw gold, golden highlights.
A touch of exoticism (mango, papaya) and a hint of spices.
Ample and fat, it contains papaya and saffron.
Gewurztraminer Roemerberg will taste very well with cheeses of character (Munster, Roquefort...), duck foie gras and desserts such as pistachio macaroons.
