Getting to know the Gewurztraminer Altenbourg

The fruit of vines planted in the Kientzheim-Kaysersberg valley, in the Vosges foothills, a terroir dominated by gravel and alluvium.

Tasting notes

Beautiful, straw yellow robe. The nose is as intense as it is enticing, opening with exotic fruits (mango, lychee) before revealing subtle nuances of violet and rose. All typical of this noble grape variety, but here expressed with a disarming elegance and distinction. Bold and sumptuous on the palate, borne aloft by the distinctive freshness of this vintage.

Food-wine pairings

This Altenbourg Gewurztraminer is a perfect partner for foie gras, strong cheeses and fruit tarts. It's also perfect for charming, innovative combinations with Asian classics such as Thai green curry.

And what if... Succumb to the temptation of an unexpected encounter...
