The Altenburg area overlooks the village of Kientzheim. South-facing and established on a limestone and marl subsoil, it offers powerful and rich wines but always fine and full of distinction.
Fermentation in stainless steel tannks followed by ageing in tanks for at least 6 months before bottling.
Rich and complex bouquet, evoking apricot, vine peach and orange blossom.
Greedy and elegant with roundness and attack. Harmonious acidity development to a refreshing finish.
