A marl-sandstone soil, a south/south-east exposure which gives it an almost Mediterranean climate, and which is the highest Grands Crus of Alsace ... all these conditions make the Zinnkœpflé a terroir favourable to the great white wines of Alsace, of which our Riesling is a part.
Long fermentation in stainless steel tanks followed by a prolonged maturing on fine lees. The wine is then bottled for at least one year before being sold.
Brilliant gold
Floral, on the finesse, with notes of pears and rhubarb.
Velvety on the palate, attack and mineral salivation (limestone), good length and subtle fruitiness (yellow fruit, pear in syrup).
It goes wonderfully well with large fish in sauce or sauerkraut, snails and goat's cheese.
