The princes among wines there are only 50 in Alsace to be honoured with the title “Alsace Grand Cru”.
- Marckrain (Bennwihr): facing south-south-east with predominately clay-limestone soil, this vineyard produces wines with an exceptional aromatic potential such as powerful and full-bodied Gewurztraminers, and Tokay Pinot Gris.
- Zinnkoepflé (Westhalten): here steep slopes, a warm dry microclimate and limestone soil give birth to high class Gewurztraminers, Tokay Pinot Gris and Riesling with a powerful bouquet, delicately spicy and fine.
Other “Grands Crus” on the wine list are Mambourg and Vorbourg.
A Mosaic of rich and varied soils to be discovered.
